lyrics
Papyrus I: The enlightenment
Once there was a man
who was living on the sand
where the ocean meets the strand of his land
He watched that blue sky
- rays of zenith in his eyes -
and got blinded by the colours of the light
That flashing moment filled his eyes
it reached every corner of the mind
oh, now he knew what had to be done
Even though his vision was
blurry like a morning cloud
the views in his eyes had never ever been so wide
He felt the mystic vibes.
Papyrus II: The queen of Sheba
He started his sacred journey
and crossed the plains of Sheba
to meet the queen of wisdom of the world
He was tested by her riddles
but none of them succeeded
to surpass the knowledge given by the sun
The queen was amazed that there was one
so young with the mind like shelled bran:
“The words he said must be hear all over the world!”
She gave him a gift from her treasure halls
so he could fly and reach the stars
where from every soul can seek the final truth on their own
Papyrus III: The Council
One thousand and one nights
he spread the word among the people
seemed like no one felt his lessons were unreal
But there were those who thought
that the message he brought
had the source of the heretic force
“This infidel must be stopped
that carpet will be torn apart
oh, let his fraud be revealed once and for all”
“Release the ladies of the night
and let them prove that we’re right
he’s just a man with weaknesses of flesh and bones”
The Epistle to the Council
“Ladies gave him permission to land
Little he knew, he was soon to be slammed
Arrows of fire held on by my hand
Ready to bring him down, like we had it planned
But somehow, something went wrong
We saw him burn he shouldn’t be around
Think his remains didn’t reach the ground
but here he was there’s nothing that could be done
Revived with glowing aura of the gods
Will the vengeance be laid upon us now?
Will our debts be paid with tears and blood?
Is it any use to beg, beg mercy…
Oh, Oh - Will the vengeance be laid upon us?
Oh, Oh - Is there any use to beg at all?”
Papyrus IV: The prophecy
The centuries have passed
and the legends are still told
by the elders to the fathers and their sons
They say he’ll return soon
- anytime from now -
and we should prepare ourselves well
Once more his knowledge shall be used
to cease the darkness before the truce
but it’s something we must really want to choose
Look out of your window at the night
when the brightest star falls from the sky
Then you'll know what’s the most valuable things in your life
