Magic Night
07:33
|
|
||
A symphony
of shooting stars play once again to me
Grimoires
sit in my bookshelf with knowledge beyond the grasp of mortals
Take me back
moonlight
Take me back once more
to a magic night
The spirits
Oh, they love me
The mortals
I'm sure they love me too
and me I love them too
Yes I do
Yes I love them too!
Now's the time
the wind plays with my hair as I grasp the broom between my thighs
Fireflies
dance every as they follow their master through the skies
In the firmament
I ride
Once again
to a magic night

Indebted Voyager

Here it comes again,
an unwelcome
knock behind my door
Got some dues to pay
I can’t think my way,
out of this miserable place
If only I could find,
some peace of mind,
all my troubles would be left behind
But it’s gonna be alright
I think the moment’s right
to get me from their hideous sight
Cause I’m out of this town
Where a man can calm down
one more quickie loan
of which repayment will be postponed
I am going away, don’t mind if I stray
I am testing the limits of fate
It’s time to decide,
where I could hide
the whole world is open wide
My master plan is clear
the escape is near
but one problem gives me reason to fear
Since my credit is gone
like last winter’s snow
some paths are too late for me to go
But these markets I know
can keep it low.
Soon I dip my toes in Thailand’s shores.
Cause I’m out of this town
Where a man can calm down
one last quickie loan
of which repayment will be postponed
I am going away, don’t mind if I stray
I am testing the limits of fate
Made it under the sun
where it’s always warm
I have finally won
A new life has begun
nothing brings me down
or takes me back where my troubles are from
My smile shines bright
I set my pillow right
gonna sleep tight tonight
Then it finally comes
that spoiling doubt
Did I leave any clues behind?
I’m out of this town
Where a man can calm down
one last quickie loan
of which repayment will be postponed
I am going away, don’t mind if I stray…
...cause I am testing the limits of fate ~

A Life In the Woods
04:56
|
|

Used to work from 9 to 5
like it was only way to live my life.
Briefcase by my side
I ran all around for my dimes
As the time passed me by
Couldn’t wear anymore my suit and tie
So who’d ever knew
how our nature took me where I should be…
No more stress unless
the winter breaks my nest
I am finally where I should
I start my new life in the woods
You might think I’m a fool
but it’s the way of life I will choose
I can sing alone my blues
I can make and break my own rules
In case you didn’t know
I used to be just like you
so ain’t it kinda cool?
How our nature keeps me where I should stay…
No more stress unless
the winter breaks my nest
I am finally where I should
I start my new life in the woods
I’m a natures child
I’m a man in the wild
In my quest
to hunt and survive
It’s a constant fight
with every nerve alive
with every cell derived
from the beast I have inside
I perform my rites
at the brink of night
Once again I’ll dine
by the bonfire where I…
…I can play my flute
along to swiss of aspen leaves…
What would you do if the system went down?
Could you offer anything in a primitive world?
How long do you think this era can last?
Why waste precious time on all that trash?
Come and join me throw away those vanities
Let’s give them real purpose in the pit of the flames
" Deep in the woods
far from city light
a cavalcade of stars fill the sky every night
life is good as the fire burns bright
not a single useless commodity in sight
wait - that's not my flute in the pyre, right!? "
No more stress unless
the winter breaks my nest
I am finally where I should
I start my new life in the woods

Golden Middle Way
04:10
|
|

Caught up with one friend of mine I hadn’t seen in a while
I noticed how he watched behind his shoulders all the time
But a look on his optimistic grin told me he was gonna be alright
He went straight ahead under sunnier skies to start all over again (Over again…)
I heard a man swearing at the choices he had made
The norms of the society were driving him insane
I kept an eye on how he took off his tie, that symbol of stressful life
Then he walked behind those waving trees to start all over again (Over again…)
I would describe
this singular type
of people as a bipolar tribe
Why they drift from side to side?
When there’s no need to fray
on a golden middle way… (on a golden middle way…)
From time to time, I still like to think of the things I would find
If I went ahead with a curious mind and left it all behind
Let something drop from the sky first, I should be fine
Cause due to my checkpoints, I won’t need to start all over again (Over again…)

Man On the Magic Carpet
10:22
|

Papyrus I: The enlightenment
Once there was a man
who was living on the sand
where the ocean meets the strand of his land
He watched that blue sky
- rays of zenith in his eyes -
and got blinded by the colours of the light
That flashing moment filled his eyes
it reached every corner of the mind
oh, now he knew what had to be done
Even though his vision was
blurry like a morning cloud
the views in his eyes had never ever been so wide
He felt the mystic vibes.
Papyrus II: The queen of Sheba
He started his sacred journey
and crossed the plains of Sheba
to meet the queen of wisdom of the world
He was tested by her riddles
but none of them succeeded
to surpass the knowledge given by the sun
The queen was amazed that there was one
so young with the mind like shelled bran:
“The words he said must be hear all over the world!”
She gave him a gift from her treasure halls
so he could fly and reach the stars
where from every soul can seek the final truth on their own
Papyrus III: The Council
One thousand and one nights
he spread the word among the people
seemed like no one felt his lessons were unreal
But there were those who thought
that the message he brought
had the source of the heretic force
“This infidel must be stopped
that carpet will be torn apart
oh, let his fraud be revealed once and for all”
“Release the ladies of the night
and let them prove that we’re right
he’s just a man with weaknesses of flesh and bones”
The Epistle to the Council
“Ladies gave him permission to land
Little he knew, he was soon to be slammed
Arrows of fire held on by my hand
Ready to bring him down, like we had it planned
But somehow, something went wrong
We saw him burn he shouldn’t be around
Think his remains didn’t reach the ground
but here he was there’s nothing that could be done
Revived with glowing aura of the gods
Will the vengeance be laid upon us now?
Will our debts be paid with tears and blood?
Is it any use to beg, beg mercy…
Oh, Oh - Will the vengeance be laid upon us?
Oh, Oh - Is there any use to beg at all?”
Papyrus IV: The prophecy
The centuries have passed
and the legends are still told
by the elders to the fathers and their sons
They say he’ll return soon
- anytime from now -
and we should prepare ourselves well
Once more his knowledge shall be used
to cease the darkness before the truce
but it’s something we must really want to choose
Look out of your window at the night
when the brightest star falls from the sky
Then you'll know what’s the most valuable things in your life

Hearing of his great wisdom
seeing him fall like a shooting star from the sky
long before the morning light
they left the walls of the Himyraite kingdom
Travelling the sea of sand
no serai would their party heed
secresy was the only need
on this forbidden journey to far away lands
Where they would be trialed by
burning sun of the day
freezing moon of the night
Crossing the mirror lake
a djinn approached them, troublemaking in his mind
"the man you're seeking has surely died -
and these lands are mine so be gone before the break of day!"
Ignoring these words
their faith proved strong as hardened iron
and though the djinn was gone
the men would sleep with their hands on their swords
For they would be trialed by
daunting mirages of the day
haunting ghouls of the night
Finally on the seventh night
a sign appeared as a bright light
and look! Into your mind
for it is there where the man on the magic carpet still flies...
...in your mind ~
